“Moving and educational”

Your DVD addressed to our Director of Education was forwarded to me for review. This morning I took the opportunity to view it. The videos are quite moving and educational, and the accompanying guide is ‘just right’ in terms of content and presentation. Are copies still available?

“The lyrics are so powerful”

I recently received your No More Turning Away DVD from my director to review for our Character Development programs. The song, “On the Turning Away,” has been my favourite song for many years and Pink Floyd has been my favourite band since I can remember. I have always thought that the lyrics of that song are so powerful. I am interested in 80 copies for our schools.

“It will touch the hearts of many”

Thank you for sharing the resource, ‘No More Turning Away’ with our schools and school board. I used this DVD resource at our Catholic Education Team meeting (video #3) to compliment introducing our third annual ‘Stuff that Bus’ food-drive. This DVD was given to all of our Catholic schools to use to celebrate the upcoming service learning event to which all of us are called to help others in need. The DVD provided an engaging means of relaying the message that we are all God’s children and we all have a responsibility to help our neighbour. It is a very useful resource that will touch the hearts of many. The appropriate, current music that was chosen and the local images that were used in the DVD made the message real.

“A terrific educational addition”

This morning I received the copy of No More Turning Away that you sent to our school. It is so thought-provoking and perfect to use with students. As a matter of fact I want to use it with our Mission Group (to the Dominican Republic) when we meet for the last time tomorrow as a launch into the experience. I’m sure that it will be a useful tool in the future for our school. This past October we participated in the Global Stand Against Poverty as a school and hope to organize it again next year. I can see the DVD as a terrific educational addition to our experience. Peace to you and to all who helped to produce this DVD.
