Take It Back: Letters of Reference

"Thanks for the superb presentation"

Thanks and congratulations for the superb presentation today! It came out far better than I anticipated. The assembly was a great kick-off for Pitch-In Week, and the kids responded well to your obvious commitment to concerns about the environment.

“Professional and appealing to youth”

I am writing in appreciation of your multimedia presentation, TAKE IT BACK. It was professional, well-researched, beautifully put together and appealing to youth. The message was strong without being preachy. It provided a springboard for further classroom discussion, not merely concerning personal responsibility and our environment, but as a window to career choice in the sciences.

“A powerful vehicle”

NO MORE TURNING AWAY is a powerful vehicle for youth and adults to experience the injustice of hunger and poverty through multimedia.

“Each of us can make a difference”

Thank you for a very moving presentation. We especially appreciated the segment called HOPE because it reaffirmed our belief that each of us can make a difference.

“Something you can no longer ignore”

Thank you for helping to make our Creation Celebration Service a very special event. Some called the event “powerful...something you can no longer ignore.” Others said they “want to see more of this sort of thing.” It was a pleasure working with you.

“An opportunity to share ideas”

What made TAKE IT BACK especially meaningful was the opportunity for students to share their ideas between the 3 productions. It is important to give students ownership and responsibility for their community and environment, and the only real way in which this can be accomplished in a school setting is for young people to share their thoughts and ideas with others. TAKE IT BACK gives young people an opportunity to do just that.

“Thank you for your hard work”

Thank you for your excellent presentation and all the hard work it must have taken to put together. Only dedicated commitment can produce results.

“I highly recommend your presentation”

What a fantastic presentation! Your thought-provoking images and upbeat music created a spellbound audience. I highly recommend your multimedia presentation to any school or organization concerned about our earth. If you can make one more person aware and active in saving the environment, you have done your job!

“These threats can be overcome”

TAKE IT BACK was excellent. The presentation raised awareness of the state of our planet, it created the feeling that these threats are real, and perhaps most importantly, that they CAN be overcome by a committed society. There were those who said that this was the most interesting and important school assembly we’ve had in the past 7 years.

“An empowering presentation”

Thank you for your empowering presentation! It was so real. Earth Friends at L’Amoreaux started off with 2 members. The presentation inspired so many students to take a stand and fight for change. We now have about 23 members, and L’Amoreaux has a group of staff dedicated to environmental awareness, called the Environmental Team. We celebrated Earth Week by promoting the middle “R,” Reuse, and collecting as much reused clothes as we could, which was sent to refugees of the war in the Balkans. None of this could have been accomplished without the help of your insightful presentation. Thank you for helping us kick off Earth Week and proving to the school that we can really make a difference.

“Thank you for opening our eyes”

I have heard nothing but positive feedback from teachers and students. There could not be a more rewarding feeling than knowing that at least some of us came away from the presentation wanting to change things. Thank you for opening our eyes to the real world.

“Alarming and amazing”

The professional presentation Keith made to Bruce Peninsula Environmental Group was exceptional, the videos excellent, and the music alarming and amazing simultaneously. I wish you every success in your endeavour for this astounding project.
