“A very valuable teaching tool”

I have just reviewed your resource and, as an EcoSchool board and one that focuses on the fragility of creation and our responsibility to care for it, I find it to be a very valuable teaching tool for students to learn more about environmental issues via music. I look forward to sharing these materials in time for Earth Week.

Lori Lynn Stapleton, Curriculum Coordinator
Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board, ON

“The music and texts of the songs are well chosen”

The music and texts of the songs are well chosen and would make useful introductory discussion starters for work in environmental studies and similar courses. We applaud the Rotary Clubs for wanting to support these big and important environmental ideas. Rotary’s work to support our schools in this way is much appreciated.

“An excellent resource for Earth Week”

This DVD will provide an excellent resource for Earth Week or any introductory class to environmental studies. It is vital to educate youth on how important clean air, water and food is to survive and what youth can do to help our planet.

“A good mix of hard questions and optimism”

I really enjoyed the music, visuals and quotes. It was a very good mix of the hard questions that need to be asked, balanced with optimism through action.

“A superb piece of work”

This is a superb piece of work with an exceptionally helpful viewing guide that would enable Grade 7-12 teachers to effectively address issues related to care and protection of the environment. By ‘effectively’ I mean the use of current information, engaging images, text, and music, and with a context of active, caring, responsible, and respectful citizenship.

Ron Ballentine, Coordinator Environmental Education, Science and Technology
Halton District School Board, ON

“An awesome and thought-provoking production”

I received Take It Back today and just watched it. Wow! Another awesome and thought-provoking production! I have a grade 11 retreat coming up in the beginning of May focusing on the connection between our faith and the environment. And our Development & Peace Thinkfast will be at the end of May, focusing on the topic of water. Take It Back will add a lot to both events. Keep up the great work!
